A Tremblant log home is the penultimate in log home ownership, in perhaps the perfect setting, Mont Tremblant.

Mont Tremblant: A Village, A Mountain and a Park

Mont Tremblant, literally translated as “trembling mountain,” is a skier’s paradise. With over 150 inches of snow per year, it features a world-class ski-resort that has been named #1 by Ski Magazine in eastern Canada a dozen times.

Exactly what “Mont Tremblant” refers to can be confusing if you are unfamiliar with the area. For clarification, remember that Mont Tremblant can refer to either of the following ? the aforementioned mountain, the pedestrian village at the bottom of the mountain, and the national park, Mont Tremblant Provincial Park. To get from the village to the peak, a chair lift operates in summer and winter. There is also shuttle bus service.

What Makes Tremblant the Perfect Tremblant Log Home Setting

The simplest reason is that mountains and log cabins go together. A cabin flanked by snowcapped mountains with a smoke coming from the chimney signaling a roaring fire inside is a picture everyone can relate to.

However, what makes a Tremblant log home different is that these are not regular log cabins. Spacious and modern, they’re more like chalets in the mountains. In fact, many refer to the Tremblant log home as a chalet because of the luxury you’ll find within.

Tremblant Log Home Features

Tremblant log homes feature a dizzy array of modern amenities that would stun historical log home inhabitants. Some of the features include:

Spaciousness: Log homes can be as large as 6, 7 or 8,000 square feet, or more. Many sleep 12 or more. Comfortably and stylishly furnished, they allow everyone to spread out comfortably.

Private Pools: Many of the log homes come with private pools; some heated for year-round use.

Fireplaces: These are a given in almost all Tremblant log homes. After all, what would a snowy, mountainside retreat be without a roaring fire.

Private Parking: You don’t have to worry about finding parking, as most log homes will come with private parking.

Outdoors Spaces: Balconies, patios and decks allow you to enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding areas.

Tremblant Log Homes for Rent

Many Tremblant log homes are privately owned and are rented out to vacationing tourists. These are ideal for families or large groups who want a home away from home feel.

Many of the Tremblant log homes are located on the water, and/or near Mont Tremblant National Park, which is a real treat. Mont Tremblant National Park features over 500 rivers, lakes and streams, making it easy to see why so many of the log homes are located on the water.

If you’re lucky enough to rent a waterfront Tremblant log home, you’ll be able to take advantage of local fishing, swimming, boating and other water activities.

Whether for a weekend getaway, or a weeklong ski vacation, a Tremblant log home is the perfect lodging for your mountain vacation getaway.
